When is training?

Training is on Wednesdays between 4pm and 5pm on Andrew Petrie Oval. Commencement of training for the 2025 season will be late February / early March (date to be advised to registrants directly). See the Training and Matches Page for more details.

When and where do they play?

Saturday mornings at Nagle Park,  the first games start at 8.30 for the U6s and finish around 12:30pm for the U9 games.

How Long does the season go for?

Training will commence at the end of February / early March and games will commence in early April. The season runs until August (with breaks for the Easter & mid year school holidays).

Which age group is my child in?

The age they turn in 2025. For example, if your child turns 7 in 2025 they would play in the Under 7s in the 2025 season.

What age group does tackle start?

Tackle starts in the Under 8s. Under 6 and Under 7 teams play touch rugby.

When will I receive the uniform?

You will receive your uniform at the start of the season before the first game. For training, your child can wear any comfortable sports wear i.e t-shirt or jersey and shorts. .

Players need to wear plastic studded rugby boots to training and games (no blades or metal studs are allowed). Mouthguards are also compulsory from U8 onwards.

What happens after the U9s?

You will move across to Easts Junior Beasties with the other Easts Minis players from Bays and Bondi Breakers.
