Easts Wallaroos is a junior rugby union club for boys and girls aged 5 to 9 in the heart of Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

We’re affiliated with the Eastern Suburbs Rugby Union Football Club, the oldest district rugby club in Australia with a 120 year history. We play in the club’s famous red, white and blue jersey and our players have a pathway to play for Easts all the way through to Colts and Grade teams.

We operate out of the excellent Easts Rugby club house and train on Wednesday afternoons on the main field at Woollahra Oval.

We play in the Sydney Junior Rugby Minis Competition on Saturday’s at Nagle Park, Maroubra against other clubs in the area. Under 6s and 7s play two hand tag, with tackling and uncontested scrums introduced from Under 8s.

Easts Wallaroos is a small, friendly club and we are always happy to welcome new members. We field a maximum of two teams per age group, which means there is more room to train - and to catch up for dinner at the club house afterwards!

We focus on providing a fun and enjoyable environment for kids and their parents whilst teaching the game and values of rugby through quality coaching.
